Description
The Supervising Safety in Extractives and Processing Industries course is a two day course that can be completed both via online webinar or at a face-to-face venue. The course is full of short lectures, demonstrations and interactive exercises. The webinar variant of this course is only available by LAPTOP OR COMPUTER, please note that smart devices such as phones or tablet are not permittable for our courses.
Who Should Attend?
The course is relevant to team leaders, supervisors and mangers, attendees will be able to understand how accidents are caused and how they can be prevented, whilst learning core skills to enable them to supervise effectively.
Aims
With this, we aim to improve the candidates awareness on supervising in accident prevention on site, as well as the thorough investigation of incidents. However, the primary target for this course is to help the delegate increase their ability in health and safety management. Finally, the course aims to develop the candidates knowledge on vehicle safety in quarries, controlling risks and managing behaviour of others.
Includes
The content of the course focuses on developing the candidates ability to supervise in accident prevention and health and safety management; the course also attempts to develop confidence in managers and supervisors when handling a behavioural issue within the workforce. Overall the course includes methods the delegate can use to improve safety and reliance in the workplace.
