Description
This is the four-day variant of the IOSH Managing Safely course, similar to the three day, the aim of this is to develop knowledge of procedures and actions required to handle health, safety, and behaviour within their team. There is also a four-day course if this is required. You MUST attend with your IOSH booklet to sit the course. The webinar variant of this course is only available by LAPTOP OR COMPUTER, please note that smart devices such as phones or tablet are not permittable for our courses.
Who Should Attend?
The demographic for this course is managers who request knowledge on maintaining health and safety within their sector, as well as this the course will work to challenge attitudes about health and safety requirements within management and tackle any reluctance when addressing this. We aim to constantly re-enforce why health and safety is vital within their role.
Aims
With this course, we aim to provide delegates with a thorough understanding of the importance of managing health, safety, and behaviour; as well as an appreciation for the rules and regulation involved within the delegates role. We ensure managers have a relevant comprehension of hazard and risk analysis, and how to confidently identify these.
Includes
The content of the course includes knowledge on how to correctly assess and control risks, as well as understanding hazard prevention and the responsibilities that come with this. This course, which can be completed via both online webinar and in person, is packed full of interactive activities; with this we aim to confront core communication skills to help the delegates become mor efficient within their role.
