Who should attend?

Any employee in any organisation that needs current knowledge of the practical actions that need to be taken to handle safety and health in their teams. The course will work to challenge attitudes toward safety management by setting out the clear requirements and those that candidates may be reluctant to address. It will constantly re-inforce the importance of why safety and health is such an essential part of their role within the organisation.


To provide individuals with: A thorough understanding of the importance of safety and health Hazard and risk analysis skills, best practice and practical tools for the workplace An understanding of the law and the legal system Skills on incident investigation, the importance of reporting and improving performance Content The course includes: Introducing managing safely Assessing and controlling risks Understand your responsibilities Understanding hazards Incident investigation Measuring performance

It tackles a number of core communication skills which will help an individual become more confident and effective in the workplace.
